Dear TC and the C's:
I became 'addicted' to you bunch many years ago when I lived in Missoula. I was also bridesmaid in the O'Brien/St. Clair wedding at Snowbowl in 2006. Furthermore, I've been a crazy-drunk dancing girl at numerous other shows, including one here in Seattle. I am going to relive the glory days this weekend.
Well, I'm flyin' in from Seattle today and am heading straight for the Union Club. I'm bringing my city-boy Canadian boyfriend. Let's show him a good Missoula Montana time, eh?
Two requests: Ditch Effort and...play your asses off.
See you tonight!
Love,
Nichole

Hey Tom, My daughter from Missoula turned me on to your music. What a great find. Any chance you would share chords for Sail On? I've got the basics, but I can tell I'm missing some. I'll be sure to acknowledge you when I hit it big on the open mic nights at the coffee houses of Laramie!!
Thanks for the great tunes,
Perry

Hey there, a shout-out from Fairbanks, Alaska, where my new friend (a fan of yours) gave me your CD, which my laptop promptly ate. But before it did, I danced in my living room to track 5, Every One of Those Men, and I'm telling you, that song is the story of my life. I am also a songwriter, do you mind if I learn and cover the song? You have a friend in Fairbanks if you ever need to get up to Alaska.

We were in the Chico bar this weekend when, lo and behold, a familiar voice projects from the speakers in the quiet bar. I asked the bartender for confirmation. She replied, "why yes, this is Tom Catmull and the Clerics.". We raised our glasses and cheered to the memory of shows from Chico Bar's past and to all the shows to come.
Thank guys for all the good times!

Hey Claudia,
We usually play across the street at the Conor Byrne, but I do know of and long to play at The Tractor. So far, they don't respond to my desperate attempts for showdates. I think I might be coming on to strong. BUT, we will be in Portland on October 8th!!!!...Its just a hop, skip and jump. Who's up for a roadtrip? Thanks for the kind words!!!

Email me with one song request at a time, and I'll fire off the chords as quickly as I can. tom@tomcatmull.com. Thanks again!

I just happened upon Sail On Gone during the middle of my European History class one day at school and I fell in love with the song. It was haunting and beautiful and I remembered it for months after hearing it just that one time. For my birthday, I had my parents order the CD and I have to tell you I absolutely LOVE it. I'm not usually big on bands because I have a pretty odd taste in music, so it's normal for me to randomly like one or two songs by an artist. I could seriously count all the artists that I like on one hand. But I love your music. I've pretty much listened to the CD on repeat for the last month. I put it on my iPod when I went on vacation to South Carolina during Fall Break. I listened to the CD the whole way there and almost cried when my iPod fell in the ocean (it’s a tragic story involving a bicycle and honestly, I would rather not relive it) and I couldn't listen your songs for a week before I got back home. Anyway, the purpose for this rather garrulous message was purely to say that I thoroughly enjoy your music and to thank you for bringing joy to my life one song at a time. On that note, thanks!

Wow! That's one long swear word! Stretch Hummer?? That's nothing compared to my quarter mil RV with hottub/sauna combo. It sure feels like you are flying when going 15 in a 45. I think I might take it to Yellowstone and cause 15 mile cow elk jams in it.
